GARDENING HANDS BALM
(Formerly Delicious
Skin Balm)
With
it’s slightly spicy scent from Carrot Seed Oil & ACV, Delicious Skin was my
first formula, created to handle my chronically dry, hard working hands. It
continues to be my personal go-to balm.
Gardening
Hands Balm includes: Mango Butter with incredible emollient and regenerative
properties. Traditionally used for skin
softening with moisturizing and protective properties restore flexibility and
reduce degeneration of skin cells.
Highly
therapeutic Avocado oil is perfect for sensitive and dry skin. It is rich in
vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, protein, pantothenic acid and fatty acids. Skin
issues like eczema and psoriasis are said to respond favorably to it. My skin certainly does.
Coconut
oil is an amazing oil with large amounts of lauric acid, giving it antiviral
and antibacterial qualities. It makes
an excellent skin moisturizer and
softener that creates a protective barrier.
Apple
Cider Vinegar is wonderful for skin too, it regulates the pH of the skin &
has a tonic action that promotes blood circulation in the small capillaries
that irrigate the skin. ACV is also
antiseptic preventing the proliferation of bacteria, viruses, or yeast that
trigger infection. It dissolves excessive fatty deposits at the surface of the
skin and reduces scaly or peeling conditions.
Sunflower
oil, an excellent source for beta-carotene, very emollient with a light texture
that is easily absorbed by skin.
Witch
hazel, also known as winterbloom or spotted alder, a flowering shrub common in
North America. Studies on various
plant's potential for anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties for skin show
Witch Hazel exhibits active oxygen-scavenging properties and is protective
against cell damage. Witch Hazel tannins
help lock in moisture helping skin to stay soft and supple.
Carrot
Seed Oil is high in both vitamins and minerals. Carrot Seed is said to be of
the best oils to rejuvenate and regenerate skin tissue, helping to remove toxic build-up in the skin,
improving skin’s complexion.
